I had to share this video with the world! I love this girl!!!
The scenario was Mommy and Mollye about to bake a cake while watching the CMT music video awards. I had just put the stool out and turned the tv on. The song playing was "Country Girl." I turned around to head back into the kitchen and caught Mollye dancing her heart out! I ran to grab the camera and let me tell you she did not let up until she realized she had been caught! Too funny!

28 is great!
I had a wonderful birthday! It was great to celebrate with friends and family!
This precious girl made my day and life! Please note she insisted on all the candles, and she picked out the cake!

Love- in true form!
Happy late Valentine's Day!
This year was a very enjoyable experience. Mollye is old enough now to recognize that each holiday has it's own meaning. To her this holiday was about Love!
Isn't that so true??
If only we all had the simple love that this two year old demonstrates. It's unconditional. It's true. It's non-judging. She honestly loves everyone in her life. Though she does prefer her mommy to any... Nanny T and Aunt Meg come in a close second, as well as Aunt Casey. Do you see the pattern??? I do- they are all girls! Mollye has hit the age of realizing their is a difference between girls and boys, and this girly girl prefers girls!
In fact, we even had to make different Valentines for boys and girls.
Mollye chose to make the girls "kitty cats." I loved these b/c she was able to make them all on her own!
The final product:
For the boys in her life crocodiles were on the menu for Valentines. At first I was not sure we would be able to come up with a crocodie Valentine, but luckily I found a cute one online.
I admit I had to do most of the work on these guys, but Mollye and her daddy were able to sign her name.
She loved the finished product!
Oh the love that went into making these Valentines! She was so excited to give these to all of her friends at daycare. She kept saying, "They will LOVE them."
I know one thing is for sure- this year Mollye reminded me of the simple truth- we need to show love in the simplest form to everyone. I love you, sweet girl!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's day!

Back to work
Back to work I go again today...
I thought I was so ready to go back! I was yesterday, and I know I will be fine once I get there today. However, I'm not fine right now. Staying home with Mollye is exhausting, but I LOVE it. I miss my baby girl! Mostly I like the fact that I truly felt like I was raising her and teaching her to make good choices. Instead now I feel like I'm teaching 25 other kids to make good choices. Oh well. At least I do enjoy my job.
Miss you sweet girl! I will see you at 3:30 today!

Snow Day 3
Ok, I must admit that I am tired of the snow now. I am not one for sitting in the house all day, and the fact that my car has not moved since Sunday is driving me crazy!!! Thankfully JoCarole is on her way to pick up the Bear and I! Mollye could use a friend to play with and I NEED adult conversation!!!
We have had an enjoyable day though. Lots of cuddles, kisses, dollhouse, Tom & Jerry (she just loves that cat and mouse), and more crafts!
Today's craft: Painting with shaving cream and glue
Mollye loved making circles with the paint:
She also LOVED the way it smelled!
She kept asking to practice with her scissors, but I told her she had to wait until he was finished. As soon as we finished him, she ran to grab the scissors!
Perfect example of why a 2 year old may not need scissor practice. It appears we are headed for a "boo, boo" at any moment!!!
Our rule is we do one project together and then Mollye always gets to do one completely by herself. She loves that, and I believe that kids need to be able to freely work. Here is her snowman:
Look close and you can see the face. She declared, "Momma, I done.I only want a face. No body, no hat,no arms, nothing else."
Our completed snowman:
What can be on the plans for tomorrow??? Hmm... I think it is time to get the car out of the driveway! Shopping, maybe??
